A new generation of leadership for the Utah State Senate.

The decisions being made today will determine whether the next generation can afford to live, work, and raise a family in District 5. I’m running to make sure those decisions reflect the people who already call this place home.

Because our future is Wurth fighting for.

Dakota Wurth was raised in Layton and has never lived farther than a stone’s throw from Hill Air Force Base. Utah is his home, and his love for this community is what inspires him to run for public office.

After putting in 73 bids for their first home, he and his husband, Cole, moved to Clearfield City, where he is now a City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem. His own journey to buying a home has inspired him to work in housing affordability with Davis County. Through his career, he’s helped hundreds of families across Utah achieve the American dream through homeownership.

When they’re not working, Dakota and Cole can be found hiking in Ogden Canyon, shopping at a local thrift store, and spending time with their dogs Milo and Peep.
